Even I am a science student..and right now m on verge of becoming CA..Juz 3 more papers of final left and vll be apperaring in the forthcoming exams..So there is nothing like "Sci. stream student cannot do CA"

 

Undoubtedly..it would be tough in starting..but join classes of Accounts and stats of 12th std. and have friends who can help you on your smallest doubt without making mockery of you (orelse your morale would go down). Put a bit of extra efforts..and there you will be CA by few couple of years..but most imp. you should be sure of doing CA..orelse you will spoil both CA as well as engg.

 

And baaki we all are here to help you and guide you..many experts are also there and all here are fantastic and always ready to help (personal experience)..so dont worry..ALL The Best !!

Yes , very much agree with hari . Even though i am a scinece background student and i am a CA but not happy with my work . I strictly say no to creative student for CA but if you are discilpined and you love number crunching and go for it

If u are really interested then opt ca otherwise join in science tough iam an mpc student in inter aa lthe best for ur career

There are some things which are expected from the individual at certain age only... Once u entered into CA,the basic requirement of this field needs u to be disciplined, focused,not so masti as compared to College going crowd. Its core teaching methodology is to be Serious right from the start.. BE PROFESSIONAL attitude.. u will observed this once u entered into Office culture.. I'm a science student hence when I see my other engineering friends college life.. I get quite jealous feeling about it.. Ur just 19-20 & u r feeling IT returns at office for whole night.. I personally think College is biggest factor for ur personality grooming & having technical degree always hold u edge in every field.. U can later opt for MBA as someone suggested earlier

DO MBA ya MCA from Pune.. Doing Ca needs more passions and time Icai institute nowdays cutoff result to 3 percent in future remains around it .

Even i was of same case..i was soo confused with this situation after my 12th. Ca was never my passion and moreover i am just an average student who had not got any seat in any engneering collages. But i just made up my mind and want to prove myself to the people who criticized me and today i ve cleared both cpt and ipcc in 1st attempt. This is just to tell u that ca is not soo difficult as iit or so called the only thing u need is an average hardwork with a good smartwork. So go on with ur decision to do ca but u can never have a collage life in ca. No gangs, no interactions. But u ll be paid for what u have worked.
