we are Pvt ltd co. We have paid telephone bills and for this we want to show input St in ST3 form. But my confusion whether to show this Input amount i.e. in CENVAT credit column or in CENVAT utilized column? And also under which head it should be taken?

@ vinayak, if the telephone bill is in your company name and if you have made the payment for the same, you can avail the cenvat credit for the same. For this in the service tax return; under Cenvat section, in 5B. otpion- under Credit taken- select the appro options like on inputs or on inputs services received directly or as received from inputs service distributor. And if you are utilising the cenvat credit agst your s.t. laibility, then in Credit utilised option , mention the cenvat amt used. Check the closing cenvat balance to counter check the cenvat balance in hand.
Also in the s.t. return under Paid-Service option, mention the s.t. paid in the By CENVAT Credit column the amt used.
