Whether service tax kkc is applicable under rcm service tax paid on 31/05/2016
Dear Sir,
whether service tax (KKC) is applicable under RCM service tax paid on 31/05/2016 but we have not made payment before 01/06/2016.
kindly clarify the same.

if service has been provided and invoice has been issued before date of levy of KKC, point of taxation shall be date of issue of invoice, hence KKC not applicable.
KKC would be applicable since you have not made payment before 1/06/2016. Please refer Rule 5 of Point of Taxation rules, 2011.
