Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies tax obligations under Sections 44AD and 44ADA of the Income Tax Act. While these sections allow for presumptive profit declarations (e.g., 8% or 50%), they do not prevent taxpayers from declaring their actual profit if it is higher. If your actual profit exceeds the presumptive rate, you have the option to declare the higher, actual profit for tax purposes.
