Quick Summary
If your income is non-taxable for the current financial year, you do not need to use Challan No./ITNS 280, as this is only for tax payments. Instead, you should file a nil return directly on the Income Tax India e-filing website to declare your income and obtain a tax certificate.

File nil return and get acknowledgement

Which challan should i use, whether it is CHALLAN NO./ITNS 280 or different.

Challan itns 280 is reqd only to pay tax. if you have no taxliability no need to pay tax.just file a nil return in the income tax website.

Do you have the link?

You cannot file the challan because you have nil tax liability.

Challan can only be sued for tax payment either self assessment, advance tax or demand raised by dept.

File the required income tax form with the department on the website: https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/
