Clarifications on the requirement for completion of Advanced ICITSS course and the Advanced IT Test thereunder, with reference to eligibility to appear in CA Final examination, under Final( Old) and Final (New) Syllabus. In terms of Regulation 29D(1)(iii) and 51E/72E of the CA Regulations 1988, students under the New Scheme of Education and Training ( implemented with effect from 1st July 2017) are required to complete the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (Advanced ICITSS) successfully for being eligible to appear in the Final (New) course examination held under the syllabus approved by the Council under Regulation 31(iv) of the CA Regulations 1988, the first examination of which is to be held in May 2018. Advanced ICITSS is a combination of Management & Communication Skills and Advanced IT Course, which is effective from 1st July, 2017 with the implementation of New Scheme of Education and Training. Candidates are required to undergo the Advanced ICITSS-Advanced IT test, conducted by the Exam Dept. of ICAI, after completing the Advanced Information Technology component of the above-mentioned course. Further, it is hereby clarified that students who have undergone only one, i.e. either GMCS or Advanced ITT under the Final (Old) course, have to undergo the remaining component, i.e. Advanced ICITSS(IT) or Advanced ICITSS(GMCS). They are not required to undergo Advanced ICITSS (IT and MCS) in its entirety. It is further clarified that following is the position in respect of different categories of students who are required to undergo Advanced ICITSS course and pass the Advanced IT test thereunder, with reference to their eligibility to appear in Final examination. Final (New) Course-Held under the syllabus approved by the Council under Regulation 31(iv) of the CA Regulations, 1988. TABLE 1 Sr No Category Remarks 1 Final (New) course (registration for which commenced from 1 st July 2017) Should Advanced When to complete complete ICITSS the (i.e. Before appearing in Final (New) Advanced IT and MCS) pass the Advanced IT there under 2 Converted from Final (Old) course ( i.e. held under the syllabus approved by the Council Should Advanced complete ICITSS and test the (i.e. Advanced IT and MCSU / R Regulations t 31(ii) of the CA o Final course exam Before appearing in Final (New Course) exam (New) courseNot appeared in Final exam in the Final (Old) course whichever component has not been completed earlier) and pass the Advanced IT there under , test upon conversion
If u have not appeared for ca final earlier then you should complete advance ITT before exams. If you have appeared then you have to complete before applying for membership.
I didn't attempt any final exam before.
So I need to AICITSS before..
thank you sir

thanks
