When An Investor get Bonus Shares?????????

If shares hold by an investor on date of bard meeting on which desision taken for bonus issue OR on the date of shareholders meeting when they approved that OR on the Record date of bonus shares OR any other date. Pls must solve my this problem. Thanks in advance

bonus or dividend is available to shareholder if his name appears in register on record date i.e. if he is holding shares on record date..
