1. Create profiles at the job portals (naukri, monster etc.) and search actively according to your preferences.

2. Migrate to Tier I cities (i.e. Mumbai, NCR, Chennai, Pune & Bangalore) to increase the chances of getting shortlisted for the positions available at these locations.

3. Go for the international qualifications / certifications : CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, CIA, CISA etc.

4. Find an opportunity at Gulf (through the job portals) – Good tax free salary, less work & lots of Indians to socialize with.

5. Find an opportunity at Africa – Great saving potentials (take an early retirement after working for 5 -10 years).

6. Migrate to Australia / New Zealand – Accountants, Auditors & other finance professionals are in great demand (visit the respective country’s immigration web site for more information).

Correct. You should select job in which profile/field you want to stay for at least 3-5 years and make your career in the same. if you are not there then with in 1 & half year change to the field/profile job where you want to work long term and getting good money as well.
