ICAI;
- Doesn't care about regulating articleship, students being exploited in the name of articleship, Doesn't care if students actually get the exposure they need. Horrible working hours and working conditions faced by majority. After going through all this for 3 years... still many articles do not learn anything.
- Could maintain the standards at all levels of the course, but no! Pass many at CPT and trap most in Final!
- A professional course is supposed to test the knowledge of the students, their ability to apply concepts and laws especially in papers like DT!
When all over the world professional courses are moving towards open book exams,etc to make papers more standardized... you still use tactics such as impossibly lengthy papers, redundant memory based questions, and questions like the one's provided today that hardly 5% of the articles could have had a practical exposure to!
Why introduce open book exams and reforms to new course students and still trap old course students into this?
Do these mechanisms actually guarantee the best pass outs?
Many brilliant students who would have made talented practicing CA's are sitting at home in their late 20's and all you could do was dismiss any criticisms that is put before you.
Hope you would at least take some productive action on the feedback you took a few days ago on the evaluation system.
