i think you should go for executive M.B.A. M.B.A  is a must couse and c.a plus M.B.A  is very demanding now a days.

you can go for various certificate courses offered by icai only depanding on your interest in subject matter and in which sector of corporate you want to go..there are ample of areas nowadays to choose from like finance, taxation, internal audit, system audit, project finance, merchant banking, m&a etc etc.

or else have some additional degree like international CFA or US/London based CA in which you have to clear only 1-2 papers now.

basically depands on your area of interest and in which area you want to shape up your career.

I suggest you to go for the various certificate courses which ICAI organises at regular intervals.... And it would be good if you do ERP course and Valuation course from ICAI..

now a days CIMA is also good option afte CA, you can go for it, if you want to build  your carrier in corporate sector,

There are many courses which you can pursue with CA or CS. However the choice and decision depends upon many factors like one’s own interest, cost, duration, time devotion etc. depending upon your circumstances. In this regard I’d suggest you to explore your own interest and then decide what you want to do in future.

Some of the options available are:

1. CS, ICWA, CFA (US), CMA(UK). These are Long term duration with more than 3 years.

2. CPA, CFP, CIA, CISA etc. are medium term duration depending upon the devotion and your level of knowledge.

3. Further there are many certification programmes like, CIFRS, NCFM, CMA (US) etc. NCFM course is conducted by the Indian Stock Exchanges and concerned with security market.

The combination of CA+CFA is good in case the interest is for Investment banking and Portfolio Management.

The combination of CA+CPA is also a good one in case interest is in Accounting and Auditing field.

The Combination of CA+CS is also good. With this combination you will be able to handle Secretarial deptt along with Account and finance deptt. It is also very helpful to take top chances to work with top management.

Thanks

Ankur Sir can a CA do LLB??? will there be an advantage for a practising CA

Just had this doubt... What are the exams conducted by bodies related to Direct  Taxes. I mean for Internal Audit you have exams like CISA and DISA. For Taxation (DT), is there any exam of such kind?

Yes my friend…why not?

A practicing CA with LL.B. qualification can take his practice further to the next level. One can extend his firm’s area of service and provide legal service with the help of legal associates. In other words with LL.B. qualification a CA can handle his legal associated and can expand his firm’s area of service and business.

Best Regards

Hi

Doing multiple courses for industry purpose help but there is need of extra things in u.

What you do, decide in which area u want to head.

start acting on it. Meet expert career counsellor , he will help you in area wher u lack, what u lack, ur dream job..

It is very important to invest in urself along with specialisation in your area (atleast take out 10% of your package towards development, soft skills ) attend it on sundays...

Else Do CA + regualr MBA .  ... U will be able to manage everthing...... knowledge is secondary in industry if u have skill to present your thoughts,u r fearless of anybody be it a boss or others, frank, open, ready to accept.

Simply mention your qualifications, which according to you, allows you and make you competent to practice as a professional tax consultant.

Thanks

If you want to enter into the Finance Domain - you can either opt for CFA or MBA (Finance)

go 4 CS...

CS is a good option
