I have a login on the incometax.gov.in website for income tax e-filing. And enter my username and password then click on continue. Once you have logged into the portal, click on the tab e-file and then click on ‘file income tax return. Am I right or wrong?

Add all incomes
make permissible deductions.
Add all allowances
arrive at gross total income.
deduct exemption from gross total income.
arrive at taxable salary.
apply relief and rebate.
pay tax.
