as you have completed BA Economics it doesn't matter regarding accounting knowledge. first of all think it as new concept and in simple accounting is concept of what comes in and what goes out . Comes in treated as debit and goes out as credit. all process depends upon debit n credit. apart form this , for smooth working there is some acts to organise the accounting process.
