What happens if gmcs-i not completed in 1st year of articles

Hi, 

I have registered for articleship in 31st July 2014.What happens if I could not be able to complete GMCS -I in July 2015.Can you let me know the effect. ? What happens if joined after 12 month of 1st year of articleship training.

Your suggestions in this regard is highly recommended.
