Hey people

I have given my CA Final exams in May 2011.. I want to continue studying some course after CA say for around 1 or 2 years .. needed help about what exactly should I choose .. I wanted to do MBA but heard that its like doing the whole stuff that we do in CA in a summarised form.. People have suggested CFA as an option .. So wanted further details on CFA course and its benifits to me in my career as well as to get me a good package job... How does it help me and what kind of placements can I get thru it is the main question..

CS IS GOOD OPTION WITH CA

Focus more on gaining practical exposure, increase you application based knowledge and try to master the subject. This will be the backbone for your professional success and development in the future.

I have just concluded my GMCS, same quests. were raised there & i am giving the reply of faculty members,

Acc. to them after CA u should choose the field of your interest and should focus on specialisation in that field...ICAI is running many post qualification courses like in IFRS, Valuation, International Taxation, Financial Management etc.  Similarly for audit related field CISA/DISA etc.are there...

So do think about this aspect too...

Otherwise cs is also good option & regarding MBA, if u do it regular (if age permits) then it may give u some value addition...distance would just be an addition of degree....(i dont have much detail about cfa)
