work contract tax in calculated on deemed sale.the rate of WCT varies from 4% TO 12.50% but an assesse can also opt for a composition scheme in which the tax will be calculated on the whole contract price not only on the material value which is applied if a person does not opt for a composition scheme and the rate will vary from 1,2,3,4%.
