Quick Summary
This discussion explores how companies can legally pay individuals who are not GST registered. It clarifies that registered entities purchasing from unregistered persons must issue specific documents like payment vouchers and tax invoices. The conversation also touches upon whether unregistered individuals need to issue these documents and if companies can directly pay GST on their behalf.

The GST law mandates that any registered person buying goods or services from an unregistered person needs to issue a payment voucher as well as a tax invoice. The type of invoice to be issued depends upon the category of registered person making the supply.

Do you want to mean that an unregistered person needs to issue a payment voucher as well as a tax invoice to the GST registered organization where he/she provided services?

Is not it possible for the registered organization to pay the GST of that unregistered person directly to the GST department of government for the payment the organization is paying to that unregistered person who is providing service?
