Way bills

Way  bill should be issue from both side... for example: If material come from Andhra Pradesh to Karnataka... Seller should be issue way bill for andhra check post purpose and the same Buyer should also issue the waybill for material come in karnataka. If only waybill applicable in buyers state. then only buyers shoild be issue the way bill.

Each state has framed Vat Checkpost rules for bringing goods from other state and sending stocks to interstate. Most of the states have made it mandatory and made as online way bills/road permit forms.  In some cases both the states have prescribed forms.  Kindly check the particular state vat websites before sending or receiving the stocks.

Some states have exempted certain commodities for the purpose of issuing online ways bills.
