I am associated with a company manufacturing the products for helathcare industry. I would like to ask 2 qurries as under.
1) For unregistered users , what is the formality to buy products outside karnataka, i.e what kind of forms they are suppose to provide to seller ???
2) What are the exemptions provided by the respective state governments for the Doctors, Nursing Homes & Hospitals for the purchasing of products out side the state.

1. Charged local vat on invoice only.
2. No such exemption for doctors nursing homes or hospital
no forms, they will issue u retail invoice.....charging local vat rate
Thanks for your valuable advice , but i think there is a confusion. I want to sell the material. I am the shipper. What forms or declartion is to be required by the customer ?????

no document required, as on now most states have abolished check posts, but some have octroi still, if they ask for octoroi then the agent have to pay the same and move the goods.

GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA, DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCIAL TAXES IN ASSOCIATION WITH NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE PREPARED E-SUGAM FORM.
e‐Sugam is a facility provided to the dealers to upload the details of goods being transported onto the department's website while dispatching/receiving the goods and obtain an unique number as a proof of uploading such transportation details. The unique number thus obtained shall be produced before the check post/enforcement officer.
Form 38 and ST 38 is the road permit, which is available to registered as well as unregistered dealers on application for handing over to transporter.
