Want to revised mvat returns 2nd time for c forms.

Dear Sir

I have already revised MVAT Returns once u/s. 20(4), Now new error came to light, OMS purchases part was wrongly added in Tax Free, due to this Department is not issuing C-Forms - as total amount of C-Forms is more than what was mentioned in Form 231.

Now I want to Revise returns again, otherwise we will not get C-Forms. As I have already revised returns once, second time is not allowed, please guide me what to do, as obtaining C-forms is necessary otherwise suppleir will debit that amount to us. Please Guide.

Fill your vat audit report with the right amount of oms purchases and then apply for c forms. It will issue c forms then. If still they do not issue then contact the officer and he shall resolve. Option for filing Revise return is only once. Hence revision of return is not possible.

You will have to revise your return under section 20(4)(c). It will not be according to the peridicity of the client but is annual and has to be done at the year end. After that you can apply for the C-Forms. A similar situation arose while filing the returns of one of our clients and after inquiry from the sales tax department we came to know that this is the only solution to this problem.
