Where to invest Rs.11000 fo 12-15 months ? I have Rs.11000 in my saving bank A/c. I want to invest it for period of 12-15months with minimum risk involved. I am not aware of shares dealings. For me Fixed Deposit in the only saving instrument i know. So if anyone has some ideas for good investment options other than Fd the please suggest? I want to invest in Shares but i am not havinh any knowledge abt it and also i doesnt want to take much risk. I want 8-10% returns.

You Should Invest In Mutual Funds
If your view 3 Years Then u invest in Sundaram Capital Protuction Fund "Least Risky Fund"
Accourding to my Expectation U will Get 40-60% after 3 years. "It is a close ended mf" fixed maturity
If your View 12-15 Months then u invest in following funds
SBI Debt Fund Series 15 months6-Growth "NFO" or any other Debt fund. "It is less risky and low return Fund"
Banking Sector is also very good but it is a Risky
If u want to invest in Banking then Religare, Reliance and HDFC Banking Growth or Dividend fund is good
