ipcc pass percentage is very good for May 2011 exams.but converted students from pe2 to ipcc many of did not cleared.i think institute is intentionally failing the converted students, bcoz they are unable to pass even 1 group when compared to recently joned ca ipcc course. and marks also r very low. The Pass percentage will be interesting to see in Unit 8 of IPCC. I request all (CA Qualified, CA Final, CA IPCC, CA PCC ) to raise your voice for this utter injustice for the students.

what cma murali said is absolutely correct .converted students are not able to get atleast exemptions in any one of the subjects. and even though if the converted students are able to clear ipcc (single or both groups is with great difficult) and many of my friends did not able to clear.
i think converted students from(pe2 to ipcc) should use RTI act to bring this issue in to lime light. bcoz im also a sufferer. some thing going wrong with these students regarding corrections or marks evaluation.
above my view will be agreed by those students only who came pe2 stream background only

It has been a non-professional conduct on the part of ICAI. There is no meaning to the word of transparency. They have announced the result percentage of both PCC and IPCC. What really makes me surprise is they have not classified the Regular IPCC pass % and Converted to IPCC (From PE II) pass %.
I have seen the results of around 200 students on a sequential basis hardly there were around 3 students who had passed. Waited till today evening just to know whether ICAI will come up with Pass % separately for Converted IPCC students. This is not acceptable at all from an Institute know to Audit the accounts of all company to express an opinion about the transparency in the affairs of the company and do not have transparency in its Course itself.
I am one of the victim of the Institute “GO AGAINST PE II STUDENTS” . I just got 36 in Income Tax in Unit 8 of IPCC. I have also completed CWA. Scored 70 Plus in Direct Tax & Indirect Tax Level. Scored 67 in Group III of CWA Final. Faculty of Income Tax from 10 years. Yet I got 36 marks which resulted in FAIL in IPCC UNIT 8
My/Our sincere request from all the converted students of PE II to IPCC, let them disclose the pass % of IPCC Unit 8. Then i/we will be able decide to continue or not. Because if Institute has decided us to fail there is no way we can pass.
Request all the Qualified, Students of Intermediate/PEII/IPCC to express there opinion. Atleast the innocent one’s should not feel the heat.

To PE 2 Students,
I have also suffered badly bcoz of Institute’s so called “passing trends” in PE 2. I have given 5 attempts of PE 2. They are giving me exemption in one subject like Costing (70) and giving me just (28) in Tax. I suffered more when I went to Institute to enquire about the number of papers I need to attempt to pass Group 2 of PE 2. I had got an exemption in Information Technology (73) in May attempt and then in Nov attempt, I got exemption in Costing (70) , as per the exemption rules, we can take benefit of only 1 exemption, but when I went to enquire ICAI, Cuffee Parade, the enquiry authorities there misguided me , n asked me to give only 1 paper of Tax. (costing and IT – Exempt). So I gave TAX paper only n cleared it, but in the result it came as Absent for other 2 papers. When I went there to complain, they started shouting on me only, and only 1 lady there said sorry. But a sorry could not make up for my loss. I had to give all 3 papers again and that attempt being the last attempt for CA PE 2. Thankfully, I cleared with good marks. I simultaneously completed CS with exemptions and Mcom . ICAI is like a Government office, where there is no regulation, no discipline. I wasted 2 important years of my carrier because of there passing trends towards PE 2 students.
I am with u in this regards we also suffered when we were converted from old final syllabus to new one.as if we had made a crime.
