Wrong info....it is just a draft shares by ICAI via Notification dated 23.02.2012.

Agreed with Ankur ji. One needs to wait for final approval of such draft notification. Also there was no clarity in the said notification regarding whether ICAI allows existing graduate completed students also to re-register as a fresh student or not to start the training.

These are just proposals.....but likely to introduced very soon.....previously also graduates were eligible to take articleship directly.....the reason being they are supposed to have basic knowledge of Commerce which is required to articleship training.

The Institute's plans are to make huge number of  Certified Accountants who know well about IFRS so that they would be able to maintain books of account in the desired mode.

For this purpose ATC ( Accounting Technician Course ) has been introduced by ICAI and ICWAI.
