Very surgent ...pls help!

I have deposited the service tax payable by cheque drwan in favour of "Yourselves - A/c Service Tax". After a couple of days our banker informed me that, the cheque was not drawn correctly, that is it will not be "Yourselves - A/c Service Tax". I have deposited many cheques in the past in the same name. My banker also inorm me that the head has been changed and the correct head is posted in the internet. I have checked several times on the official site of Service Tax but not find any topic about this. Can any help me? What will be correct name to whome I should drawn the service tax cheque. Guys please help me to solve this problem! Its very urgent!!!

asa you have put yourself on cheque , means your banker is authorized to collect sergvice tax

Now Banks are not accepting the payment for service tax all tax should me paid online u can use this link

If your bank bank is accepting the payment for the same u have to draw the cheque in fovour of bank it self

Example: - IF YOU ARE MAKING PAYMENT IN STATE BANK OF INDIA THE CHEQUE SHOULD BE IN FAVOUR OF " STATE BANK OF INDIA A/C SERVICE TAX"

We also Pay Service tax in Favour of "YOUR'S SELF SERVICE TAX A/c in State Bank of India and There is no any Problem. I think you should talk with branch manager of Bank on this Toppic.
