Verification of income tax return 20/23
Sir from the some relevant sources I am in knowledge that the return of income tax must be verified on or before 30/08/2022 for the asstt year 2022-23.Please guide me in respect of above said matter.Thanks

The CBDT announced this via a notification issued on July 29, 2022, which came into effect today, August 1, 2022.
“It has been decided that in respect of any electronic transmission of return data on or after the date this Notification comes into effect, the time-limit for e-verification or submission of ITR-V shall now be 30 days from the date of transmitting/uploading the data of return of income electronically"
If return filed before 31 July then time for verification is 120 days from date of filing. But after 1 August, if return filed then Same must be verify within 30 days.
E verify immediately.
