Vat to gst query
Facing one issue.....
We had one medical shop. But now it is not there. But still continuing VAT registration. Do I need to go for GST registration. If yes, So while changing to GST can I change the name.

No need to migrate to GST for closed unit, better surrender the registration of VAT.
For new unit start afresh when liable to get registered under GST.
