Vat registration for catering services

Hi,

I have catering services business i.e. i am purchaing goods and from that goods (material) prepare lunch and dinner to serve to the employees of the company, for that i am using a canteen of company. That canteen owned by company itself. I required to take service tax registration number but is it required to take MVAT registration number??

MVAT registration required for catering services?????
