Our client buys tin dabba for packing 20gms and charfes vat @ 4%. Now the AO is adamant that 12.5 % vat must be charged and showed vat schedule of packing material made of plastic dabba and not of tin.
Kindly mention any notifications and at what rate of vat is chargeable.
