VAT Query

Can anyone tell me what entry to be passed in tally if we are sending some stock as samples. This is urgent !!!!!

Dear Ganesh,

if the sample is returnable / non returnable, you need to keep record of both, so that u have to maitain to ledgers or items. Then u will have to pass the JV of stock transfer by creating sample non returnable / returnable item / group accordingly

also you can do same by opening ledger sample returnable / non returnable accordingly

by sample returnable  AC

or

by  non returnable A/C

to Sales A/c

Note: if you want to put '0" value effect for the transaction, activate the '0' value option .
