Another kind of work is Medical Transcripttion, here, we receive audio files from our client at coimbattore. we will convert it into text format and we sent back.
We need to Know whether it ishould be applicable for VAT and What Percentage

Hi,
VAT registration is mandatory once the turnover exceeds Rupees FIVE laks whether it is software or manufacture
for Local business you have to charge 4% VAT

in your 1st case is concern the client is a USA base hence VAT is not seems to be application i.e. its Export transaction, registration is manadotry: AND
2nd case is concern its not a pure sale because data (audio files) provided by the clients itself. you are doing job work with only. under VAT job work also covered subject to other provisions
