May I also ask this VAT of 1% is regardless of the segment of jewelry? Mass Jewelry, Lifestyle and also Imported Luxury jewelry??

I have found that Import duty on finished Jewelry is 10% plus education Cess of 2%. Is there any more duty related to this import and retail in India (Say at Mumbai)
