I want to know TDS provisions of Tamilnadu VAT Act as far as builders and contractors are cocnerned...Would appreciate your reply. Tq.

Dear Shah,
The TDS is 2% for civil contract and 4% for others. The contractee must deduct the tax at appropriate rate and paid into the govt.
