I have just started one software company(proprietary), mainly for developing website and software. Want to sell software (on tender requirement) and also want to provide BPO service like data entry. My query is
1) Do I have to register for VAT (Maharashtra)
2) Do I have to register for sales tax (Maharashtra)
As my company just started no so not confirm about turnover or proper income.
in case the vat t/o is exceeding Rs. 5 lacs , vat registration is compulsory.
however, an application can be made with deposit of Rs. 25,000 and reg fees Rs. 5000 even if the company is newly started
