Vat applicable on goods imported for re-selling?

Please Help friends

Yes nromally you require to register for procurement of goods from outside.

Sir but i find somewhere that VAT is not applicable on Imported Goods, Please Confirm

One thing more i like to clear  i Import for Reselling Purpose within Punjab

I FOUND IN CACLUB INDIA THAT VAT IS NOT APPLICABLE ON IMPORTED GOODS

vat is applicable to sell in punjab as per PVAT.
