Hai, Happy New Year 2013 to All.
I have one query that, is it in India any product can be taxed at a time two types of Tax?
Ex :- Product Value is 1000/- vat at 5% and service Tax 12.36%, the total value after this Rs. 1173.6/-

Dear Mr Manoj,
Vat and Service Tax is Mutually Exclusive..... if Vat will be Charged on 1000/- then no need to Charge Service Tax on Same Product.
