validity of student registration number

Hello folks,

I am new in this community, so my sincere apologies if i have posted this query in thr wrong forum.

I am an MBA and a working in a multinational corporation. I was a CA - IPCC student earlier but I never got to attempt the exam as I joined this organisation.

Now after all these years, I want to continue with my CA studies. Would anyone be kind enough to help me with the procedure?

My prime concerns are - Do I have to renew my registration number or shall I opt for a new registration?

Is there any upper age limit for CA aspirants?

Registration for CA-IPCC is valid for 4 years from the date of registration.

After the expiry of the said period, revalidation/renewal of registration should be done to continue the studies further.

For more details, regarding the process, read this ICAI announcement:

Further, there is no cap on maximum age to apply for the CA. exams.
