Validations.EF20112 and caught error description as null

QUESTION :-I am getting the error validations.EF20112 while uploading ITR3 with DSC... Can you please help as to how to proceed

ANSWER :- UPDATE NEW UTILITY

Downloaded latest utility but than also error validations.EF20112 not resolved. Please advice.

You will face this issue if you are filling return from offline utility. You can generate Json file from offline utility and then login income tax website and upload json file. Issue will get resolved.

Here is the procedure to avoid the "caught error descripttion as null" while uploading an ITR file:

• Download the Excel Utility form for the required ITR file from the Income Tax Portal.
• Extract the downloaded file offline.
• Open the Excel file manually and enter the required details.
• Optionally, download pre-filled data and import it into the ITR file.
• Validate the information filled in the form.
• Save the file by clicking on 'Save JSON File.'
• Open the saved JSON file from your system.
• Upload the saved file to the Income Tax Portal.

By following these steps, you can avoid the "caught error descripttion as null" and successfully upload your ITR file to the Income Tax Portal.

may be you put minus figure in some where in itr form, remove it will solve your querry..
