Valid reasons for late submission of form - 112

Articleship 5023 views 5 replies

Sir,

I have started my articleship on 20-02-2013 in my old firm and take transfer on 31-12-2013. Then I joined my new firm on 01-01-2014 and submit Form 103 & 112 (with details of pursuing B.com Hnrs from D.U.). But earlier at the the time of registration in old firm, i did not submitted the Form-112, as I am confused whether to pursue b.com from D.U. or IGNOU. Now, i received a letter from ICAI to give reason for late submission of Form 112. What reason should i give to ICAI for this mistake???? Help me experts and members!!

If this reason for late submission is not acceptable by ICAI, please suggest me some valid reasons for this case.

You may write whatever actual reason was there ( e.g.  ignorance to submit the form and was of view that since other articled clerks are purusing the same type of course(s) hence it is automatically approved by the Institute. Couldn't judge the importance to submit it well in time ) for non-submission of the form no. 112.

Dear Sir,

Thank you so much for your quick response.

There is one more query that ICAI is asking for "Attested copy of joining proof /Registration letter of B.com course duly signed and stamped by the University/Institution mentioning that no classes are required for said course."

Whether D.U. SOL identity card is valid for this or I have to submit some other document?

Thanks & Regards.

When an I-card itself suggests that it is OPEN LEARNING; hence you need not submit such certificate. You must mention this fact to the ICAI in the covering letter attached with form no. 112.

Thank you again sir...... smiley
