Whether Excise duty paid on invoice dated 01/04/16 can be utilized as Cenvat for the present period or any other alternative to use that credit ?

As per CCR, the invoice on which credit is to taken should not be older than 1 year from the date of Credit. plz ensure the same. refer rule-9 and rule-4 of CCR.
