I sold my ancestral property and the funds were put in a bank.(capital gain account )
I am going to construct a house
Now the bank manager tells me that I cannot withdraw funds by means of ATM for constructing my house.
He says that i can withdraw only by demand draft in favour of my builder
Is he trying to fool me?

If the withdrawal is in excess of 25000, it'll be paid by way of crossed cheque or dd to the person to whom the amount is intended to be paid
