It is required to issue invoice, it doesn't matter customer demands or not.
You have to print or store invoices on your own

You are required to issue invoice. It does not matter whether it is cash sale or some other or whether customer demand or not. However if invoice value is upto ₹200 then it's not mandatory to issue. You can make consolidate entry for such invoice of upto ₹200.
