Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the requirement to file Form 67 for US dividend income. It explains that filing Form 67 is mandatory if you wish to claim a foreign tax credit for US tax deducted on dividends. However, for very small amounts of tax deducted, such as 5 Rs/- in this case, it is not mandatory to declare.
