Dear sir,
How to correct the transaction date under TDS filed return ?
I had mistaken mentioned the wrong transaction date, due to this I was received a notice to pay the late TDS deduction interest. But actually, I had deducted on time and deposited with in the time frame.
I had revised the TDS return and this is rejected by the department with reason that validate for total amount of tax deposited.
Could you please guide on this?

Log into your account through traces. click on request for online correction track your correction request although it will be available in no time. select the option "modify or delete deductee row" change the date and submit the correction request with DSC
