Urgent query regards tds and form 16b

I Purchase Immovable property from Ansal Housing and Corporation Limited & deduted TDS as per rules and submitted it with Govt on 04-03-2014 Through Bank of Baroda and obtain Taxpayer Counterfoil form no 280 Dated : 05-03-2104.

Now Every time I fill my details containing in form No 280 , it shows details in option two are not valid, so i am unable to register on traces website.

How can I register on Traces Website

Mr.Prince Saini, You have to fill form 26QB challan cum tds return for payment of tds under sale of immovable property.You should not fill challan 280.

I allready mentioned in the query that I obtained form 280 . Which is generated after filling and submitting the form 26qb. As per my knowledge we have fill form 26qb in receipt we will get form 280 .. using details in form 280 we generated form 16b. My query is now how to register on traces website so I can download the form 16b from traces website

I hope you are trying to register as tax payer with TRACES. Next when you fill option 2 pls check that challan no is 5 digit so if challan no is 1 you should enter 00001. And challan amount should be with two decimal point. 2015.00 You can also check the details of your challan as uploaded in TIN NSDL by using check challanstatus with CIN based view. Cross check details with what you have entered. Lastly you will have to wait 3 days after payment before registering with TRACES. I hope you will be able to solve the issue with this

Yes I am trying to register as taxpayer I allready checked the challan no if 5digit and amount of 2 decimal place ... will you share the link from where I can cross check the challan with TIN NSDL

Just type on google check challan status online it will automatically open d link. And do remember bsr is of 7 digit

Adnan I filled 26qb. In receipt of 26qb. We get taxpayer counterfoil in form 280. I got form 280 means I allready filled 26QB . Some of you guys not undersatand my query.. My query is regarding generating form 16b from traces not the filing of tds deposit cum return form I.e form 26QB

Click on Register New User and you will be asked to provide basic details such as your PAN Date of Birth Last, Middle and First Name and would also be required to further validate details of either tax deducted (option 1) or tax paid by you (option 2). 3. On Validation of details, your account will be created

As per my practical knowledge it will take 4 to 8 days time to appear in the 26 AS of buyer in this case. Registration will not happen unless the payment details appearing in 26AS. Even for issuing form 16B you should get tds certificate number that will be available only in 26AS. So Wait for till and both regitration and issue of form 16B will be happened on same as per your capability.
