Hi !! I cleared CA PEII in May 2007 , thus my Final attempt falls due in November 2009 and registered myself for CA final in 31st October 2007.. Now because of transfer, there is a break of one week in my articlehip period! Is there any provison stating that we have to complete 2 years of articleship before appering for exams? If it is so can someone help me on what should i do so that i dont skip one attempt!

Its simple yaar..
While giving details about transfer to ICAI dont show the gap...and ask ur new principal to execute the deed from the day when u left the previous firm...tht is if u have quit old frim on say 15-5-2008 and joined the new firm on 21-5-2008..dont show this gap.. and execute deed from 15-5-2008 itself as joining date...

i have passed pe-2 may 2007. date of article is 20/08/2007.
due attempt : nov 2009 ( last attempt old course )
can i gave exam in may 2009 attempt only one group ?
