im a student of mba 2nd year...i will complete mba in june 2011....should i get exemption in costing paper for CS EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME.....im going to write cs module 1 in june....can i get exemption with my mba in this june 2011....??????????....\

plz anybody give me the information about it...................

Exemption in CS course

 

Exemption from individual paper(s)

Following paperwise exemptions are available on the basis of qualifications mentioned under each paper subject to the condition that the candidate should have obtained fifty per cent or more marks in the aggregate in the examination on the basis of which the exemption is claimed :-

1. General and Commercial Laws
M.A./ M.B.A. (Company Secretaryship) or Degree in Law (three years or five years integrated) from a recognized University/ Institute either constituted under an Act of Parliament or approved by AICTE.
2. Company Accounts and Cost & Management Accounting

M.A ( Corporate Secretaryship)/ M.Com./ M.B.A (with Accountancy as one of the subjects at graduation/ post-graduation level and with full paper in Cost Accounting/Management Accounting/Financial Management at M.A ( Corporate Secretaryship)/ M.Com./ M.B.A level having secured 50%marks in the subject concerned) from a recognized University/ Institute either constituted under an Act of Parliament or approved by AICTE

3. Tax Laws(ITL)
M.A/ M.B.A ( Corporate Secretaryship) from a recognized University/ Institute either constituted under an Act of Parliament or approved by AICTE


Exemption from Individual Paper(s)

A Candidate who has passed the Professional examination of the ICWAI is eligible to seek exemption from the following papers of Executive examination under a reciprocal arrangement existing at present between the two Institutes:
1. Company Accounts and Cost & Management Accounting a
2.Tax Laws

EXEMPTION FROM FOUNDATION PROGRAMME OF ICSI

Graduates in any discipline (like B.Com, B.A, B.B.A) except Fine Arts, irrespective of percentage or division of marks or medium of examination are exempted from passing the Foundation Programme and eligible for direct registration for the CS Executive Programme exams.  Certain non-commerce graduates like B.Sc also are given exemptions but requested to write CC papers of Foundation Programme.

EXEMPTION FROM INDIVIDUAL PAPERS OF THE EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME EXAMINATION

In pursuance of the powers conferred on it under clause(3) of the regulation 42 of the company Secretaries Regulations, 1982, the Council of the Institute of the Company Secretaries of India has decided that a candidate shall be exempted from the following paper(s) of the Executive Programme examination if he / she possesses the qualification(s) specified against each paper, having secured 50% or more marks in the aggregate (whether in a full time college or though correspondence from a recognised University) and applies for exemption on or before last date for enrolment for the examination paying requisite exemption fee as may be determined by the Council from time to time.

M.A / M.B.A. (Corporate Secretaryship) or Degree in Law (three years or five years integrated LL.B or B.L) from a recognized University / Institute either constituted under an Act of Parliament or approved by AICTE.

M.A. (Corporate Secretaryship) / M.Com / M.B.A (with Advanced Accountancy as one of the subjects at graduation / post – graduation level and with full paper in Cost Accounting / Management Account / Financial Management at M.A. (Corporate Secretaryship) / M.Com / M.B.A. level having secured 50% marks in the subject concerned) from a recognized University / Institute either constituted under an Act of Parliament or approved by AICTE.

3. Tax Laws:

M.A / M.B.A. (Corporate Secretaryship) from a recognized University / Institute either constituted under an Act of Parliament or approved by AICTE.

EXEMPTION FROM INDIVIDUAL PAPERS OF THE FOUNDATION, EXECUTIVE & PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME EXAMINATION

can i know that im pursuing mba 2ndyear now...it completes in june 2011.............so can i get exemption for costing paper in this june.........?

I think the details of the completion of MBA will be required to be submitted to the cs institute so as to get the exemption. first of you will have to send the mba completion certificate to the institute along with the examination form for the concerned attempt then only u will get exemption .  As u r completing ur mba in june u will get exemption in december attempt(not 100% sure).

i have scored 64 marks in TAXATION in IPCC
can i get the benifit of exemption in d subject of Tax Laws(ITL)?

You can't get exemption in Tax Laws, only CWA final passed candidates can claim exemption. CA will not be taken into consideration.
