Hiii every one...i've got so many doubts regarding some sections...plz suggest me some sections under which i can claim the maximum refund...plz explain me about section 80dd..is it only for expenditure on disabled dependents???. what if money expended on depedents with out any permanant disability for hospitalisation?? plz suggest me the section under which i can claim the refund from CPC...what is the maximum amount that i can claim under this section??? do i need to forward the medical bills along with ITR V??? what if some money is expended for self medical treatment?? and plz tell me the last date for efiling of income tax for individuals for AY 20111-12...thanx a lot in advance.

dear prasad

i think you don't known about tax law in india.

section 80DD was not about permanant disability, this is about normal disability and severe disability of dependent person and maintainces of medical teratment

you can claim upto (a) Rs. 50,000/- in case of normal disability or (b) Rs. 100,000/- in case of severe disability.

you are required to give A fresh medical certificate required to be submitted after the expiry of stipulated period depending on the condition of disability as specified in such certificate.

Section 80U will be cliamed at same amount as mention above. that is the max cliam.

you are not required to submmit medical bill, you are required to submmit medical certificate of disability.

Last date for income tax return of an individual is 31/07/2011 for A Y 2011-12. till you can file your return without penalty before 31/03/2012.
