if may 2011 is the 5th attempt and if i clear 1st group..will i have to get myself renew my registration for giving nov 2011 attempt and will my cleared papers will be conisdered and tell me the other related details also like i will be registered under pcc or ipcc etc

for ipcc its re-registration after 10 attempts
for PE-II it was after 5 attempts
for PCC confirm at E-SAHAYATA/ICAI
for pcc. registration is valid for 5 years from the date of registration. so u can give 7 attempt. so dnt wory.

Last PCE Examination will be held in November, 2012. Thereafter, all students of PCE will be compulsorily required to appear in Integrated Professional Competence Course Examination [IPCC] effective from May, 2013

The registration for PCC/PE-II Course will be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of initial registration. Further the registration will continue to be valid as long as the student continues to appear in either or both groups of the PCC exam irrespective of the period involved which may be beyond five years. After expiry of the period of 5 years from the date the student initially registered himself/herself for PCC/PE-II course his registration will lapse except where such student has appeared in at least one of the last two examinations conducted just before the end of five years. The registration of such student shall however lapse in case he subsequently does not appear in two consecutive examinations.
