Urgent- itr query of deceased person

I have to file Itr of deceased person who has other sources income and salary income for AY 14-15. Do i have to choose itr 2 only or some other form? Because i cannot find any option to put date of death in case of itr2. Also do i have to register the legal heir on efiling account? If yes then i have to register from legal heir's efiling account or the deceased person's efiling account? Please help its urgent.

Yes u can file itr 2 and only when u add a assessee legal heir by attaching necessary documents prescribed in a income tax portal

For filling the return of deceased you have to register as an legal heir on income tax site by providing your PAN No.Kindly note that formalties for permanant legal heir are more ,so you are required to choose as temoprary legal heir to file the return of income.

Further the e-filling account of deceased would be inactive.

U hv to first register as legal heir of deceased assessee. U HV TO REG AS L.H FROM LOGIN INTO L.H ACCOUNT.Steps for reg as L.H. 1)LOGIN TO LEGAL HEIRS ACCOUNT 2)ATTACH NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND SUBMIT IT.
