Can someone please mention the topics that one has to cover in the least in Excise, Customs and Service Tax? Since the volume is huge and only few days are left please help as to which topics must be covered. I have not done excise at all. So its not possible to do it in full now. Please help. I'm really worried and its taking a toll on other subjects.

Try to cover up service tax portion fully along with amendments. In excise: Cenvat, valuation rules, SSI and amendment part. In custom: Amendments part and baggage rules fully. Case laws total 90 cases in case law book and 18 in rtp. Even if u pick 5 cases per day...u can finish this...it will give u guaranteed 12marks.
Service tax part , all amendments... with most of the case laws
also RTP Must... it wil help u lot

Excise rules,Valuation Rules,SSI Exemption,CENVAT credit rules, N list,Mega exemption, S tax Rules,POT Rules, PPS Rules, Import Export procedures, Duty drawbark, Baggage Rules,FTP, Amendments, RTPs and SAs of last 5 exams.
Its as simple as that..just do idt practice manual..ull get full coverage of topics there..n everything in short..u will b able to complete idt in two days itself..best of luck
Is doing ftp from practise manual enough? The entire thing is too technical to remember so will the practise manual suffice?
