Hello friends iam CA Final student(old syllabus) iam taking up exam in Nov 2010. Can i take up in old syllabus? or in New syllabus because old syllabus results were very poor in may2010. which would be better?Kindly guide me and also if i pass in one of the groups in Nov 2010 under old syllabus can i get exemption of that group in May 2011? if yes will it be restricted?(because i would have passed that group in old syllabus and appearing for the remaining group in new syllabus)

You should go for the old syllabus for the remaining group and as far as your group which has been passed by it will be exempted under new course in case you not clear the remaining f=group in Nov.10.
It is because as in IPCC students gets exemption subject wise from the group tehy have cleared under PE-II or Intermediate level.
You should go for new course if you have not studied the old course
You do not get frustrated thinking result is low. this trend is not continue in future. You must give exam in old syllabus.
As far as exemption is concern you will get paper wise exemption in New Syllabus.
